November 7, 2018 - David Breazeale Crowned 2018 WoO Rookie of the Year
1It was a trying and arduous 2018 season for David Breazeale as a rookie on the World of Outlaws (WoO) Craftsman Late Model Series trail in his Franklin Fence & Erosion Control #54 XR1 Rocket Chassis/ Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model.

However, at the series banquet on Sunday evening the hard work, sleepless nights, and long drives were all rewarded as David was crowned the 2018 WoO Rookie of the Year.

“We would like to thank everyone who made it possible for us to compete the entire year on the World of Outlaws tour. Billy Franklin gave us everything we needed to compete and win the Rookie of the Year, and we truly are blessed to have him,” Breazeale said. “Austin Arnold, Scott Johnson, Ryan Arnold, Mason Allen, Todd Pruitt and Brett White all crewed the No.54 this year. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. Austin Arnold dedicated his life to this race team for the year, we are truly grateful for him.

“I want to thank all of the drivers and crews from the other teams, who pitched in to help this year when we needed it the most. This is a tough deal, driving up and down the road with a lot of sleepless nights. I appreciate how the World of Outlaws family treated us so well. It’s been a trying year, but it’s been a fun year. Last, but definitely not least, I want to say a heartfelt thanks to all our sponsors for their continued support.”

David ended the year ninth in the overall series points. In 40 WoO events he recorded two Top-five finishes and 13 Top-10 finishes. He ran select unsanctioned events, and added a Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) victory on August 24 at Mississippi’s Hattiesburg Speedway.

November 3, 2018 - Franklin Enterprises Attend WoO World Finals; Breazeale Captures Rookie of the Year Award
1On Thursday evening both David Breazeale and Brandon Overton made the trek to the Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, North Carolina) for the 12th annual World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series World Finals. With 76 cars on hand for a round of qualifying, Overton came in 19th fastest in his group while Breazeale logged the 38th fastest time in his group.

1Starting in 7th in his heat race, Overton logged an 8th place finish transferring him into the B-Main. Breazeale gained two spots in his 10-lap heat to place 11th. Needing a 2nd place finish or better in their B-Main to make the opening night feature, Brandon ran into mechanical issues that prevented him from making it out while David posted a 11th place finish. Using a provisional into the feature that was postponed by curfew until Saturday, David Breazeale gained six spots in the 50-lapper to place 22nd.

Later Saturday evening, David followed up a 7th place finish in his heat with a 9th place outing in his consolation event. Relying on a provisional into the show, Breazeale advanced through the field 13 spots reeling in a 13th place outing. Overton locked his spot into the $12,000-to-win finale with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Starting in 18th, Brandon Overton fell four spots in the 50-lap affair recording a 22nd place outing.

October 21, 2018 - Overton and Breazeale Place in Top 5 in Fall Classic at Whynot
1Friday night found Billy Franklin, David Breazeale, and Brandon Overton all in action at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) for the 24th annual Coors Light Fall Classic. Drawing 43 Super Late Models for the two-day event, Breazeale locked his spot into the A-Main on Saturday with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Tyler Erb. Billy Franklin logged a 10th place finish in his heat while Overton suffered transmission issues in his heat that prevented him from finishing. Needing a 4th place finish or better in his B-Main on Saturday to make the finale, Franklin fell short with a 7th place outing. Relying on a provisional into the $15,000-to-win finale, Brandon Overton charged through the field 22 spots to place 2nd behind Devin Moran. October 21, 2018 - Brandon Overton Records 3rd Place Finish in DTWC at PRP
1On Friday evening Brandon Overton and Franklin Enterprises made the trip to Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) for the 38th annual Rhino Ag Dirt Track World Championship. With 49 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand for the two-day event, Overton followed up a 6th place finish in his first heat with a heat race victory. With Mother Nature shifting Saturday’s feature to Sunday, Brandon earned the 11th-starting position for the $100,000-to-win main event. October 13, 2018 - Overton Bags Top 5 Finish in World 100 at Eldora
1Brandon Overton returned to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Saturday morning for the rescheduled World 100. Drawing 78 Super Late Models, Overton locked his spot into the final preliminary feature with a 10-lap heat race win. Rolling off 6th, Brandon dropped two positions in the 25-lapper to place 8th.

1Later Saturday evening, Brandon jumped up two spots in his heat to place 3rd. Earning the 14th-starting position for the $51,000-to-win finale, Overton improved nine spots in the 100-lap affair reeling in a 5th place finish behind Tim McCreadie, Jimmy Owens, Tyler Erb, and Scott Bloomquist. September 30, 2018 - Brandon Overton Lands Top 5 Finish in Rome Showdown at Rome Speedway
1Both Franklin Enterprises drivers were in action over the weekend with David Breazeale at Atomic Speedway (Alma, Ohio) for the two-day World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series event while Brandon Overton competed in North Carolina and Georgia.

With 35 cars signed in for the two-day Outlaw Invasion, Breazeale scored a 2nd place finish behind Steve Casebolt in his heat earning him the 8th-starting position for the opening night feature. Falling two spots shy of a Top-10 finish, David dropped four spots to place 12th.

1During the same night, Brandon visited Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, North Carolina) for the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series sanctioned Tarheel 50. In a field of 20 cars, Overton secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a heat race win. Starting in 8th, Brandon Overton ran into mechanical issues in the 50-lap affair that prevented him from finishing.

Following the fifth fastest time in his group on Saturday, David notched a runner-up finish in his heat behind Chris Madden locking him into the 6th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win finale. Making contact with the wall early that threw off his steering, David Breazeale salvaged a 17th place outing in the 50-lapper.

1On Saturday night Overton visited Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Dixie Shootout. Scoring a 3rd place finish in his heat, Brandon earned the 11th-starting position for the A-Main. September 23, 2018 - Breazeale Bags a Pair of Top 10 Finishes With Outlaws; Overton Attends Cotton Pickin' 100 at Magnolia
1Friday night saw Brandon Overton in action at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the two-day Cotton Pickin’ 100. Drawing a stout field of 57 Super Late Models for the unsanctioned weekend, Overton recorded a 5th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. Needing to place in the Top 2, Brandon came up one spot short with a 3rd place finish.

Returning on Saturday night, Brandon timed in seventh fastest in his qualifying group before placing 2nd in his heat behind Tanner English. Starting the $12,000-to-win finale in 8th, Overton suffered mechanical issues that dropped him back to a 20th place outing.

1During the same night, David Breazeale was one 35 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series entries signed in at Selinsgrove Speedway (Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania) for the Late Model National Open. September 15, 2018 - Brandon Overton Begins Knoxville Nationals
1On Thursday night Brandon Overton was one of 57 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries signed in at Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa) for the 15th annual Knoxville Nationals. Following the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group, Brandon came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 4th place finish. Needing to place 4th or better to make the opening night feature, Overton grabbed the 4th and final transfer spot. 1The following night for another $7,000-to-win preliminary feature, Brandon jumped up one spot in his heat to place 6th. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the A-Main, Overton fell five positions short with an 11th place outing.

1On Saturday night with his spot already locked into the $40,000-to-win finale, Brandon dropped seven spots in the 100-lap affair registering a 19th place finish.

September 8, 2018 - Overton Records 12th Place Finish in World 100 Opener; Wins Rebel Yell at Sceven Motor Speedway
1Thursday night brought Franklin Enterprises and Brandon Overton to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) kicking off the 48th annual World 100. Drawing 101 Super Late Models for a pair of preliminary features, Brandon passed three cars in his 10-lap heat race registering a 3rd place finish. Earning the 13th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win opening night feature, Overton jumped up one spot to place 12th.

Friday and Saturday's program was postponed by Mother Nature to October 12th and 13th.

1On Saturday night the team stopped at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Georgia) for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned Rebel Yell. Laying down the fastest time overall in a field of 27 cars, Overton earned the pole position for the A-Main. Holding off Casey Roberts in the closing laps, Brandon Overton led wire-to-wire en route to his seventh win of the season and a $10,000 payday. September 2, 2018 - Brandon Overton Captures Career-Richest Victory; Wins Hillbilly 100 at Tyler County Speedway
1Brandon Overton returned with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) on Friday night at Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Kentucky) for the 14th annual John Bradshaw Memorial. In a field of 28 cars, Overton posted a 4th place finish in his heat earning him the 10th-starting position for the opening night feature. Getting caught in a tangle with another competitor on lap-19, Brandon salvaged a 20th place outing in the rain-shortened 30-lap main event.  

The following night at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) for the Bob Miller Memorial, Brandon came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat race with a 5th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main, Overton scored a 2nd place spot behind Tim McCreadie positioning him 20th on the starting grid for the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Passing two cars in the 50-lapper, Brandon logged an 18th place finish.

1Sunday saw 42 (LOLMDS) entries in action at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) for the 50th annual Hillbilly 100. Posting a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Mike Benedum, Overton locked into the 8th-starting position for the feature. Slipping past race-leader Jared Hawkins on lap-69, Brandon held the top spot for the ensuing 30 circuits capturing his sixth win of the season in the Franklin Enterprises #76 entry and a $50,000 payday. August 25, 2018 - Breazeale Captures First Win of the Season at Hattiesburg; Overton Visits Mansfield for Dirt Million
1Friday night saw both Brandon Overton and David Breazeale in action piloting their Franklin Enterprises entries. Drawing 77 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries to Mansfield Motor Speedway (Mansfield, Ohio) for the inaugural Dirt Million, Overton came in light at the scales after qualifying sending him to the tail of his heat. Transferring the Top 4 into the $10,000-to-win preliminary feature, Brandon passed four cars to place 6th. Needing a 2nd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the show, Overton was running in 2nd on lap 7 when he suffered a flat right-rear tire dropping him back to a 4th place finish.

1David Breazeale was one of 13 Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) competitors on hand at Hattiesburg Speedway (Hattiesburg, Mississippi) on Friday evening. Following the fourth fastest time overall in qualifying, David scored a Dash victory earning him the pole position for the A-Main. Leading flag-to-flag, David Breazeale topped Michael Arnold, Dean Carpenter, Spencer Hughes, and Rick Rickman at the line to capture his first win of the season and a $2,000 payday.

August 19, 2018 - Breazeale Follows World of Outlaws on Eastern Swing
1On Thursday night David Breazeale was one of 25 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series entries on hand at Georgetown Speedway (Georgetown, Delaware) for the Fulton Bank 40. Dropping one spot in his heat, Breazeale logged a 5th place finish earning him the 13th-starting position for the opening night feature. Coming one spot shy of a Top-10 finish, David gained two spots in the 40-lapper to place 11th.

After Mother Nature wiped out Friday’s program at Williams Grove Speedway (Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania), Breazeale followed the World of Outlaws to Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pennsylvania) on Saturday night for the $10,000 top prize. Following an 8th place finish in his heat, David streaked to a consolation victory positioning him 17th on the starting grid for the feature. Gaining two spots in the 40-lap affair, David Breazeale posted a 15th place finish.

Sunday night brought 36 cars to Eriez Speedway (Erie, Pennsylvania) wrapping up the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned weekend. Following the seventh fastest time in his qualifying group, David scored a 3rd place finish in his heat earning him the 10th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win finale. Running into trouble early, Breazeale suffered a broken radiator on the second lap ending his night early.

August 11, 2018 - Brandon Overton Visits Florence Speedway for North-South 100 Weekend
1Wednesday night found Brandon Overton and Franklin Enterprises in action at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for the rescheduled Ralph Latham Memorial from May. With a stout field of 54 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand, Overton passed seven cars in his heat to pick up the 10-lap victory. Earning the 6th-starting position for the opening night feature, Brandon slipped back to a 17th place outing in the rain-shortened 22-lap A-Main.

On Thursday night for the North-South Shootout, Brandon came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 4th place finish. Needing a 2nd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Overton recorded a 3rd place outing.

August 4, 2018 - Breazeale Follows World of Outlaws to Wisconsin; 14th Place Finish in USA Nationals at Cedar Lake Speedway

1The following night at Shawano Speedway (Shawano, Wisconsin) for the Sun Drop Shootout, David edged his way into the A-Main with a 7th place finish in his heat. Starting in 19th, Breazeale improved one spot to place 18th.

On Thursday evening Breazeale followed the World of Outlaws to Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wisconsin) for the 31st annual USA Nationals weekend. Drawing 45 Super Late Models for the three-day event, David timed in ninth fastest in his qualifying group before getting collected with the wall in his heat while battling for a transfer spot. Starting on the tail of his B-Main, Breazeale charged through the field 11 positions grabbing the 3rd and final transfer spot. Rolling off 22nd, David Breazeale improved five positions in the 40-lap affair logging a 17th place finish.

July 28, 2018 - Overton Stays Red Hot With Two More Southern Nationals Victories; Finishes 2nd in Points
1On Tuesday night both drivers of the Franklin Enterprises team were in action with David Breazeale at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) and Brandon Overton at Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia). On Friday night Franklin Enterprises saw both David Breazeale and Brandon Overton in action in two different events. Drawing 29 Super Late Models to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the Southern Nationals Series sanctioned event, Overton was able to record the third fastest time in his qualifying group before steady rain moved in and washed out the night.

1David Breazeale was piloting the Franklin Fence #54 Super Late Model entry at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned Prairie Dirt Classic. With 61 cars on hand for four rounds of preliminary features, David logged the 20th fastest time in his group earning him the 10th-starting position for the $2,500-to-win show. Losing one spot in the 25-lapper, Breazeale logged an 11th pace outing.

1On Saturday night Overton stopped at Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tennessee) for the Southern Nationals Series finale. Holding his spot in his 10-lap heat, Brandon scored a 3rd place finish positioning him 8th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Overtaking Michael Chilton for the lead on lap-31 after a restart, Overton led for the next 8 circuits until Chilton regained the top spot while battling through lap-traffic. Sliding past Chilton on lap-50, Brandon Overton held on in the remaining three laps capturing his fifth win of the season over Donald McIntosh, Michael Chilton, Casey Roberts, and Dale McDowell. Returning on Saturday night for consolation event, Breazeale placed 8th in his heat B-Main forcing him to rely on a provisional into the 29th annual Prairie Dirt Classic. Starting in 28th, David gained eight spots recording a 20th place finish after drawing a caution on lap-31.

July 22, 2018 - Overton Captures Three Straight Southern Nationals Wins
1After losing Monday’s opener to Mother Nature, Brandon Overton returned with the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern National Series on Tuesday evening at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee). In a field of 31 Super Late Models, Overton locked his spot into the A-Main with a 10-lap consolation victory. Starting in 12th, Brandon gained eight spots in the 35-lapper reeling in a 4th place finish behind Cory Hedgecock, Eric Wells, and Michael Chilton with Casey Roberts coming in 5th. 1On Thursday evening at Toccoa Speedway (Toccoa, Georgia), Brandon laid down the fastest time in his qualifying group earning him the 2nd-starting position for the feature. Jumping into the lead on the drop of the green flag, Overton navigated through lap-traffic late to capture his first win of the season aboard the Franklin Enterprises #76 entry. 1The following night brought the Southern Nationals Series to Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Georgia) for the two-day special. With 20 Super Late Models registered in for action, Overton timed in third fastest in qualifying positioning him 3rd on the starting grid for the feature. Using a late-race caution to his advantage, Brandon slipped by Casey Roberts on lap-47 and held the top spot for the next six circuits scoring his second straight victory and a $5,300 payday. Roberts, Dale McDowell, Joey Coulter, and Ross Bailes rounded out the Top-5 finishers.

1Returning on Saturday night with both Brandon Overton and Billy Franklin in action, Overton secured his spot into the feature with the fastest time in his qualifying group. July 14, 2018 - Breazeale Follows World of Outlaws on Northern Swing
1Tuesday night found the David Breazeale and the Franklin Enterprises team in action at Black Hills Speedway (Rapid City, South Dakota) following the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series. After laying down the ninth fastest time in qualifying, David sored a 5th place finish in his heat positioning him 9th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Losing one spot in the 50-lapper, Breazeale logged a 10th place finish.

1On Friday night the World of Outlaws returned to action at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, North Dakota) for the $10,000 top prize. Wrapping up northern stint, David stopped at Devil’s Lake Speedway (Lakota, North Dakota) on Saturday evening. Following the second fastest time overall in qualifying, Breazeale bagged a 10-lap heat race victory positioning him on the pole for the finale. Hanging on to a Top-10 finish, David Breazeale fell back to a 9th place outing in the 50-lap affair.

1Also on Saturday night, Brandon Overton invaded Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Virginia) kicking off the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series. With 31 Super Late Models registered in for action, Brandon laid down the fastest time overall in his qualifying group before charging to a heat race win. Earning the 2nd-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Overton ran into mechanical issues on lap 29 that ended his night early.

1David Breazeale returned with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series on Friday night at Dubuque Speedway (Dubuque, Iowa) for the $10,000 top prize. In a field of 28 cars, David locked his spot into the opening night feature with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Falling shy of a Top-10 finish, David slipped back to a 15th place outing the 40-lap affair.

1During the same night, Brandon Overton visited Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) powering the Billy Franklin-owned #76 Super Late Model for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned contest. With 30 Super Late Models on hand for the Grassy Smith Memorial, Brandon edged his way into the $12,000-to-win A-Main with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat. June 30, 2018 - Top 10 Finish in Hell Tour Invasion at Terra Haute Action Track
1On Friday night David Breazeale was one of 25 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series entries signed in at Terra Haute Action Track (Terra Haute, Indiana) for the event co-sanctioned with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour. Following a 3rd place finish in his heat race, David dropped one spot in the 30-lap feature logging a 10th place finish.

On Saturday night Breazeale stopped at the Federated Raceway at I-55 (Pevely, Missouri) for the $10,000 top prize. After coming one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish, David landed a 2nd place finish in his B-Main behind Jeff Herzog positioning him 18th on the starting grid for the feature. April 13, 2018 - Franklin Enterprises Attends Crate Special at Moulton Speedway
1On Friday evening the Franklin Enterprises team visited Moulton Speedway (Moulton, Alabama) with Billy Franklin and Justin McCree competing in the Super Late Model special. In a field of 24 cars, Franklin came up one spot shy of locking his spot into the show via qualifying with the seventh fastest qualifying time. McCree logged the eighth fastest time in his group before passing four cars in his B-Main to place 3rd. Billy secured his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with a runner-up finish in his B-Main. Earning the 16th-starting position, Billy Franklin was up to 12th until a flat-tire sent him into the infield pit area. Rejoining the field from the tail, Franklin was advancing through the field until a hole in his radiator end his night immediately. Justin McCree passed 10 cars early on in the feature until another car spun out in front of him and cut his tire down. He was credited with a 16th place outing.

March 24, 2018 - Breazeale and Franklin Follow MSCCS Series to Columbus and Whynot
1Friday night found both Billy Franklin and David Breazeale in action at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series sanctioned Mud Bug Classic. After contact with the wall in qualifying transferred him into the B-Main, Breazeale captured a consolation victory locking him into the 9th-starting position for the feature. Franklin secured his spot into the $2,000-to-win A-Main with a 3rd place finish in his consolation event. Rolling off 9th, David improved one spot to place 8th. After laying down the second fastest time overall in qualifying, Franklin was running in 2nd in the feature until losing one spot after a caution. Making hard contact with a rut while battling for a podium spot, Billy fell back to a 9th place outing when the checkered flag flew.

February 17, 2018 - Breazeale Begins WoO Tour at Volusia Speedway Park
1David Breazeale returned to action on Wednesday evening at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) kicking off the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series. Drawing 51 cars for the annual DIRTcar Nationals, Breazeale dropped three spots in his heat race logging a 7th place finish. Sending the Top 2 out of the B-Main and into the opening night feature, David recorded an 8th place outing.

February 14, 2018 - Billy Franklin Enterprises Launches New Website
1Billy Franklin Enterprises with drivers David Breazeale and Billy Franklin are the latest addition to the MSR Mafia team and have launched a brand-new website at www.DavidBreazeale.com.

The team competes in Dirt Late Model events throughout the country. Breazeale is pursuing the 2018 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series Rookie of the Year title in his Franklin Fence & Erosion Control #54 XR1 Rocket Chassis Super Late Model.

Franklin was the 2017 Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model Rookie of the Year in his Franklin Fence & Erosion Control #17 XR1 Rocket Chassis Super Late Model. In 2018 he will compete in various events across the country.

Both drivers kicked off their season back in January during the 12th Annual Wild West Shootout at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona). Breazeale returned to action this week with the 47th annual DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida).

On Monday night – with 40 entries in action – Breazeale stormed to a heat race win before registering a ninth-place finish in the $7,000-to-win, 30-lap feature.
Tuesday’s program was washed away by rain.

David is now focused on kicking off his inaugural WoO campaign on Wednesday – Saturday, when a quartet of $10,000-to-win events will be contested.
